We've got ink! Not only did members of YP @ the Beach's Advisory Board score a cover photo on the December issue of the Walton Area Chamber's Business Journal, but we also had an incredible write-up with Q&A's for each board member including Jami Anderson, Chad Blasi, Cory Fosdyck, Daniel Frankfurt, Jason Koertge, Michelle Lacewell, Valeria Lento, Jamie McIntosh, Kristopher McLane and Michelle Tommey. Way to go guys! YP is making waves and getting attention right out of the gate!

'Tis the Season Soiree Wrap-Up

Thanks to everyone who attended the soiree in Baytowne last Friday! With over 100 people in attendance, there were plenty of tacky sweaters, karaoke singers and holiday spirits to go around. Thanks especially to Sean Flynn for snapping photos throughout the evening, which can be seen here on Flickr. Nothing too embarassing! 2010 is right around the corner, so stay tuned for our next event slated for January.

Join Us for "What Not to Wear" October 8th

Fellow YP's,

Our mission is to attract, retain, develop, and connect young professionals in the area and give back to our community. One of the ways we "Give Back" is by engaging and supporting high school and college age individuals in our area to help them prepare and succeed later in life. We have a great opportunity to do just that next week at South Walton High School with the Youth Leadership Class. We need your help....to have as many YP's as possible to show up and 'Model' their professional attire.

"What NOT to Wear".
Thursday, October 8th
South Walton High School
Hwy 331 (just North of Walton Area Chamber of Commerce)
12:45 pm to 2:00 pm

Attendees may also discuss 'What NOT to Wear' including the pitfalls of piercings, miniskirts, cut-off shorts, pink hair.
Please let me know if you can make it so we will have an idea of our contribution: cory_fosdyck@ml.com

Thank you very much!

Cory Fosdyck,
YP@TB Chair

Calypso Luncheon Photos 9/17/09

Thanks to Calypso for hosting a great lunch today and to State Rep. Jimmy Patronis for speaking to the group! Despite the rain, we had a great turnout, heard a lot about his experience as a young professional, and even got some great advice. Rep. Patronis urged the group to learn more about the businesses around us, continue to be actively involved in chamber or other organizations, and work with a charity or non-profit we feel passionately about. It's about getting to know our community and giving back!

Thanks again to everyone who attended! Stay tuned for details on next month's event and check us out on Facebook if you haven't already.
